1770 - Day 7

This morning I took my friend Kaye (from the Dunes) into Agnes Water to empty her toilet cassette & do some food shopping.  She is in a motor home & it is difficult for her to get to the shop.   We finished with a nice cappuccino & 1/2 vanilla slice each before heading back for lunch.

While I was in Agnes Waters Tony & Andy went kayaking & standup paddle boarding around all the yachts which they thoroughly enjoyed.  Think they are both tired tonight 😴

After a quick bite to eat Andy drove us up to the Round Hill which has spectacular sights!

This photo wasn’t staged but I have no idea what they were pointing at 😜

Headed back down the hill to go to our next walk.

Arrived at the Paper Back Walk & meandered around the paths surrounded by paperback trees & beautiful ferns!

Great board walks to make the journey easy.

Other paths were a little more challenging 😬

No one fell in but it was close & a lot deeper on the second lot of stepping stones 😬

Was a very picturesque place to visit

Off for some 4 wheel driving to Deep Water National Park.  The road was very bumpy, Sandy & rugged in parts but beautiful ferns & wattle on the sides of the road.   We eventually reached our first destination-Flat Rock but it was too hard to get onto the next track so continued onto Middle Rock.

There is a camp there for tents only (you wouldn’t & can’t get caravans in there because of the rugged roads).   There was a short walk to a beautiful beach πŸ– very secluded & wished we had bought a drink to enjoy on the beach.   Andy walked off to investigate the Beach & flat rock.

Turtles hatch here but didn’t see any.

Decided to head back to camp as we wanted to be back before dark.   Didn’t get many pictures of the track as Tony & I were bumping around in the back seat 🀣

Andy did a great job driving us!

Got back just in time to go to the beach for happy hour & watch the sunset πŸŒ… had a FaceTime call down there with Rochelle & boys which was great & got to show them the Beach & where we were sitting.

All too tired to cook or light a fire tonight so fish & chips from the Rusty Pelican at the Marina for tea tonight at Jenny & Andy’s & home for an early night 😴 no pictures of dinner tonight - we were all too hungry!
