Andy & Jenny packing up this morning so I decided to make a few phone calls - Jude to find out how Dean was going with his cold & Jude with her injury to her foot! Sounds like the last few days have been hard for them! Rang Rochelle to see how Thor went at childcare & before I had a chance to ring anyone else one of our neighbours came over for a chat & gave Tony some fish 🐟 so we were very grateful. Then Kaye & Gary dropped in for a chat! I will make the rest of my phone calls tomorrow 🤣 you are on my list for tomorrow Nikki & Mum 🥰
A few of us wandered over to the beach to chat some more until it was lunchtime - beautiful over there watching kayakers, hydro foils & Tony went for a paddle on his new board.
Tony packed up a few things, we have spread ourselves out with fishing gear, fires 🔥 wood, kayaks & standup boards! I went down to the beach & enjoyed the sunshine - Andy joined me after awhile - he was walking along the beach 🏖 took a few sunset photos before we headed out for dinner!
Andy & Jenny’s last night at 1770 so we headed to the 1770 Beach Hotel - an open air restaurant overlooking the beautiful sunset. Took a photo of our camp from the restaurant. You can see the caravans dotted along the beach 🏖
Jenny & I spotted the cocktails as soon as we arrived at the Hotel - we had a great pina colada & were very tempted for a second but decided we would wait till Maroochydore for the next one 🍹
The Hotel had a great atmosphere, everyone was happy with their choices on the menu & the sunset didn’t disappoint.
