Tewantin

 Early start this morning - left by 8 as we had a 5 hour drive to our next camp.   

Our first hold up was an accident not far from Agnes Waters - only 1 car & trailer & looked like it had rolled.  There were saucepans & camping gear strewn over the road - unfortunately we think there were 2 fatalities as the ambulance wasn’t doing anything & the car was covered in tarps 😢

We encountered quite a few road works on the Bruce Highway which really slowed us down!

Our only stop was for lunch in a little town called Howard - found a nice little cafe called “The Naughty Cafe” for lunch & then we were on our way again!

Finally arrived at Tewantin & set up camp.  Here now for 3 nights!   Had a quick chat to Jude & then happy hour drinks with Andy & Jenny.   Ordered pizza’s from the Park Pizza Van which was very convenient - all agreed they were the best pizzas we have had in a long time - there were no leftovers 😆

A few red wines, white wines, vodkas, Baileys & off to bed!
