Thought we would orient Andy & Jenny to Maroochydore river & caravan park this morning while Jude & Dean went off to get Jude’s foot looked at again! Little windy at the van but once we walked to the river it was quite warm. Beautiful walk along the river looking at the vans & their setups & people enjoying the river. We headed to the Boat Shed for a coffee & admire the views.
There was a “local” hanging around the tables
Walked on a little further after our coffees to watch people kayaking & stand up paddle boarding 🏄♂️
Back to the van to see how Jude went & then back for lunch. Think she is getting better, Dean still laying low 😵💫
After lunch we thought we would drive to Mooloolaba to show Andy & Jenny & have a stroll on the esplanade. Unfortunately we got stuck in traffic because of road works all around Mooloolaba & couldn’t get to the shops! An hour after leaving our vans we all hadn’t got out of the car. Eventually found our way back to Cottontree & had a very quick look at a few shops. All we bought was food from Foodworks 🤣bit disappointing for Jude’s first outing 😵💫
Happy hour & dinner was at Jenny’s tonight in their new Annexe - it is still quite cool at night. Had lots of laughs, good food, a few wines & finished with our traditional Baileys before heading off to bed. Dean stayed back at the van but we delivered his dinner to his van 😊
