Clean up of the van & a quick food shop this morning & back to van to have fresh rolls for lunch!
We are on a beautiful grassed area with plenty of room right on the beach but have no water connected to the van & no power so my hair is becoming a problem.
We can get plenty of water here to fill our tanks & the battery in the van has been great but with no power I can’t dry my hair 😱 we were suppose to leave this morning for Elliott Heads but because of a cold front coming through Thursday & Friday we thought we would be better staying at Hervey Bay. They are expecting 35ml 1 day & 50ml the next ☔️💦 we are more sheltered here!
Our neighbour just purchased a 12 volt hair dryer today for the same reason but they are leaving in the morning so won’t find out how it goes 😜 I think it may be my next purchase - in the meantime I have booked into the hairdresser tomorrow afternoon for a shampoo & blowwave 💆♀️ Hope I get taken out to dinner tomorrow night 🥂🍽
The afternoon was spent poking around in the shops along the esplanade where I did make a few purchases & found a few more books to read 📚
There’s no smile on my face as I was waiting too long for the photographer to take it 😜 I was happy about my purchases though 😊
Back to the van for happy hour & cook our roast chicken 🍗
