Maroochydore - New Paddle Board

 Tony up early this morning to venture over to pick up his new board 🏄‍♂️ The board he bought before we left turned out to be a little small for what he wanted to do on it.  Lucky the guy he bought it from works here in Maroochydore.   The boys did a stand up paddle board surfing lesson with him & after some discussion he took Tony’s board back & Tony bought a larger board for not much extra cost.  They tried it out this morning in the surf 🏄‍♀️ 

Both guys pretty tired today after paddling against the tide & trying to surf the waves in.  Jude & I enjoyed a coffee in the sun watching them surf 🏄‍♂️ 

Back to van for lunch & read.   Dean, Jude & I walked along the river after lunch & ended up back at our favourite place for a coffee - The Boat Shed - lots of activity here this afternoon 🏖

We weren’t sure what these orange people were all about 😜

On our walk I had a phone call from the Cotton Tree Caravan Park saying I had won a prize in a raffle for which I had bought a ticket for a long lunch they were having in the park - they didn’t say what I had won so it was exciting to go to reception to see what I had won 🤩

I won a Fishing tackle box & bag with lots of fishing tackle in it - not what I was hoping but Tony was happy 😃 

Finished with a great lamb roast, vegies & Baileys & chocolate for dessert.   Nice way to end to a beautiful day.
