Extremely lazy this morning & slept till 9am. Late breakfast & a quick tidy up. Tony went to check his nets (put yabbie nets in the day before) & to his amazement there were 15 yabbies 🦞
After lunch Tony went off looking for firewood for our fire 🔥 tonight & came back with quite a bit. I had a relaxing read in the sun ☀️. A young family camped next to us asked us to sit around their fire mid afternoon so ended up talking to them for a few hours around their fire 🔥 They have taken their 2 children out of school for 3 months to travel. Headed back to the van to cook our yabbies in garlic butter - they were great so hoping he will catch some more! Cooked hamburgers in brioche buns 🍔 on the open fire & finished with Joe’s plum pudding - all washed down with a few wines & Baileys.
