Took our time this morning as they don’t care what time you leave! Interesting drive out of the park as we had rain the previous morning & there were a few muddy spots where the car & van were sliding & a few cattle in way 🐃
Our first stop was Kilkivan for coffee ☕️ at Julie’s Cafe - it was a quaint, quite large cafe for a small town & got to talking for quite some with some other caravaners! We also bought one of her pumpkin scones for later 😜
Tony decided he wanted to look in the Bits & Pieces shop next door - bought back a lot of memories of different things from our childhood 😉
On to the butcher shop for some steak, country smoked bacon & other goodies! Hopefully all tastes good!
Arrived at Tin Can Bay in time for lunch - set up the van & sat in the sun ☀️ Enjoying our lunch & a coffee ☕️
After lunch drove around Tin Can Bay to get our bearings & see what was in town. Booked into the Italian Restaurant in the Sailing Club but decided it would be too cold to eat out as there were no heaters & was outdoors 🤔. The tide was completely out so will be interesting to see what it looks like when the tide comes in!

After a much welcome shower & hair wash we headed out to the Country Club for a Chinese Meal. Queensland are playing Rugby State of Origin tonight so everyone is dressed in maroon colours, T-shirt’s & scarves 🧣
Too much to eat in one sitting so have a lovely lunch for tomorrow- back to the van for coffee & Baileys 🍹
